Sur les 2 chambres un tv qui ne fonctionne pas. Bonne accueil au premier abord par la personne qui était aussi au restaurant. Au bar du mal à dire à bonjour et la personne qui est là ne vous propose rien et ne vous sert pas...Il faut attendre la personne en charge du service du restaurant qui était très bien, très pro. Bon repas. Par contre attendre le matin dehors sous un temps désagréable l'ouverture ...et oui c'est marqué 7H...mais il a fallu patienter. Petit déjeuner pas prêt à 7h il faut attendre 10 min pour avoir des fruits...Et je ne parle pas des presque 10 min pour la facture ....quand on est pressé...et pour s'apercevoir que le montant sur la cagnotte n'est pas le bon....bref une fois pas deux

For the price the room is not great. The carpet is stained, the sink is plastic, for €163 there is no bathtub. Fortunately the receptionist took our breakfast to the room for compensation. Little extra: the staff is friendly.
Second visit to l'Abreuvoir and still satisfied with the welcome, the service, the comfort of the hotel, the catering.
We have been coming to this hotel for over 10 years and are always pleasantly welcomed and accommodated... We will come back next year if possible!

Smell of humidity in the room / humidity absorber tray under the window! A smell so overwhelming that I felt ill during the night with lung pain and had to open the window in the middle of October! I've been sleeping in a hotel every week for 13 years, I've never seen this! To flee
Good hotel with nice outside space. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to the main road but you didn’t notice it in the rooms. We knew the restaurant is closed on Sundays but were very surprised when arriving on Friday afternoon to find it was shut all weekend. The reminder email sent on Thursday could have told us this. There are no other restaurants in walking distance so we had to drive out both nights.

Very comfortable and convenient hotel for staying. Our family chose this hotel because it was on our way to the coast, and it has pet friendly policy while we have a small dog. Our room had an excellent shower in a spacious bathroom, and the glass wash basin was very beautiful. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The hotel is close to the main road, but it was quiet in our room because of the thick walls of the old building. The swimming pool and seating area are at the back of the hotel, very peaceful and green area. The hotel restaurant was not opened during our stay, however the staff were very helpful in making a reservation for our dinner at a good restaurant nearby. We had a very enjoyable stay, thank you.
Lovely warm welcome and enjoyable overnight stay. Great pool and terrace area really enjoyed our meal out there in the evening. Unfortunately had to be on the road early so didn’t get a chance to Sample the breakfast but looked very good. Excellent staff on the reception who were very helpful.
Very good welcome, great swimming pool but a little too messy (pipes lying around, vacuum cleaner in the middle of the terrace) and only 4 deckchairs for the whole hotel. The hotel is in great need of renovation and protection from road noise And to top it off we had the room next to the air conditioning unit so very very noisy.
A very spacious and functional room for our family of 5. We were thrilled! We were able to enjoy the outdoor swimming pool (very clean), a pleasant moment and perfect for relaxing. Only thing, the breakfast room a bit small.
We thought this to be a nice hotel with lovely staff the only down side being the traffic noise from the adjacent dual carriageway but this did not
spoil our stay unduly and would happily return.

For a 3-star hotel, this establishment needs to be refreshed outside and especially at the entrance to the rooms which is upstairs by an outside staircase, a cleaning would be welcome, the room is clean, spacious, but carpeted with a facelift to give on the other hand very good bedding, renovated bathroom, but shower with a high step not easy to access, restoration by master restorer good, but really not plentiful, high prices, very good staff.
It was a lovely stop over on our way further south. It’s a very comfortable hotel and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Will certainly stop again.

Very friendly and professional staff
The kind lady on Reception was extremely helpful when we realised we would arrive much later than planned, thanks to bad weather in the Channel, which delayed our crossing, and then flooded roads in Normandy which meant detours that took more time. The following morning, after a good night's sleep, everyone was both smiling and at the same time very professional - displaying genuine hospitality. Breakfast set us up for the next leg of our journey. This proved to be an ideal stopover between Cherbourg and the Dordogne. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.
Very good stay: * The staff is very pleasant and considerate. * The "Terroir" meal was excellent: top cooking, marked tastes, and various successful taste associations. Special mention for the "Tartare de dorade" and the "Blanc & Rouge" dessert. * The breakfast is very correct and complete. * The room is very comfortable, and well equipped. And above all quiet.
The restaurant is excellent, well above the level of hotel services. The rooms need serious renovation work: rickety tiles and traces of mold in the bathtub, damaged washbasin cabinet, random hot water management. In the bedroom area, carpet from another era (long gone), traces of cigarette burns, scratched and scratched furniture... In short, a level of room very far from the advertised three stars, barely a 2 star.
We arrived at 4 pm and our rooms were not ready which was disappointing as I was traveling with my elderly parents who needed to rest. Additionally, the restaurant was closed which was also a disappointment as we knew the food was meant to be good. The bannisters on some of the stairs were unsafe and generally the outdoors needed upkeep. The room was comfortable and clean and we slept well.

A good hotel for a night stop. Quiet bedroom with bathroom and kettle, both appreciated.
Difficult to sleep because it was hot but being on the ground floor not possible to open the window door during the night plus a lot of noise due to traffic and no air conditioning. A priori my work colleagues who were upstairs had air conditioning. The rooms on the ground floor are dilapidated, too bad. But very pleasant staff and available.
Pleasant welcome, room without particular charm but clean. Bathroom with dated decor and broken tiles next to the taps. Functional set. Disappointment for breakfast, we are served in a small breakdown room (obviously wedding lunchtime in the dining room), our order from the day before only partially corresponds, absence of muesli ham. None of the staff came to see if we were satisfied. A priori he was busy for the wedding reception...We would have appreciated a little more attention.

We had a very pleasant stay at this establishment. The staff was very welcoming and professional. The room was perfect and even big. The (Christmas) meal particularly delighted us. A top wine list and a memorable whiskey trolley (to be consumed in moderation, however). We will come back with the greatest pleasure.

We have been coming here for several years and are always satisfied. The only disappointment: the restaurant is closed on Sunday evening and we weren't able to eat as usual. Small mistake: the towels were for 1 person instead of 2.
We had stayed in this hotel many times over the years and looked forward to our stay this time but we were disappointed. for the following reasons:-
1. The eclectic décor detracted for the old image we remembered for this venue..
2. The glass of red wine ordered, when poured at the table did not reach the standard measure marked on the glass.
3. The Duvet on the bed was not sufficient to provide warmth while we slept; the duvet was an old blanket in a duvet cover. There was no supplementary bed covers in the room.
Front of house appeared under staffed but the cuisine was very good as usual. Would we come again? No.

Shabby and tired “superior” room was very small. Heating did nor work on a cold wet day and no portable heating on offer. Quality of food was poor and my wife was sick during the night after dinner. Poor and expensive breakfast with undrinkable coffee.

Reservation in June for a stay in August 2022 for 2 nights in a 4-person room. (~150€/night). Choice of hotel for its highly rated restaurant. Announcement 15 days before our arrival that the restaurant will be closed, without a fallback proposal. The room for 2+1 people obtained was very far from that of 4 described on the web... No response from management, they don't care about tourists.
For a 3-star hotel, very bad experience... Mediocre breakfast.., the staff not at all pleasant... it seems that we bother them more than anything else.. Speak badly to the children... we close the swimming pool at 6 p.m., room that smells strongly of sewers, leaves from breakfast lost 3 times, carpet in the room not at all modern and no person at the reception downstairs at night...
The rooms are clean and neat. nothing to say. Despite the hotel's proximity to the main road linking Rennes to Nantes, the hotel is very well soundproofed. We slept very well

The hotel staff members were very courteous and helpful. However, the facility needs updating: the room is very small, the towels are pretty old, and the toilet had no ventilation. Also, the hotel is located about 30 minutes away from the city of Nantes by car, so you really need a car in order to get in and out.
I only put good at reception / service because 1 person was unpleasant. This gentleman does not even deign to say hello when he enters the room and does not even answer if you say hello to him. Otherwise all the other employees are as nice as they are professional
We booked a room via the internet and received a booking confirmation 12-689-6904 but when contacting the hotel an hour before our arrival from a long day's journey from the South of France we were told that they had no booking on their system and that the hotel was full.
The hotel offered to try and find a solution and we also contacted several hotels in the Nantes area but all were full. L''Abrevoir eventually offered us a bed in a local Gite which we accepted.
On arrival at the hotel we expected to be able to be directed to the Gite in order to change our clothes before dinner in the hotel but we were asked to have our meal straight away.
The meal was excellent, however my entree arrived at the same time as my wife and son's main course and my son's dessert arrived before my main course which had been forgotten in my opinion. This spoilt what would have been an enjoyable meal plus the reason we had selected this Logis hotel was the on site restaurant which would have allowed me, as the driver, to relax and enjoy a couple of glasses of wine with my meal without needing to drive afterwards.
The Gite was 15 minutes away was very clean and the owner was welcoming but it was not the hotel experience that we had booked.
I recognise that the hotel did make an effort to find us a solution and they were pleasant to deal with but the only gesture of recompense was a small glass of Champagne before our meal. We paid full price for our meal and the hotel room rate for the Gite.
This was our fourth stay in a Logis hotel this year and we will be returning to France in September but we are very reluctant to even consider Logis hotels in the future.
